Each system is made up of three main components: Controller, Valves, and Sprinkler Heads.

The Controller is the brain of the system. At the programmed start time, it sends a signal to a valve telling it to turn on. At the end of the programmed run time, it turns the valve off. We install the award winning WeatherMatic Smartline Controller, which offers unmatched, industry's leading automated on-site water management technology.

The Valves control a group or zone of sprinkler heads, opening when signaled and allowing water into the zone turning the sprinkler heads on and closing when signaled to turn off.
The Sprinkler Heads, the most visible part of the system, are either sprays or rotors. Rotors deliver water in a 30" to 50" arc and are excellent for large turf areas. Hunter’s I20 rotor, an industrial-grade head, is available in a stainless steel model that protects the head from sand erosion and comes with a 5-year warranty. Sprays disperse water in a fixed pattern (up to 360°) and are ideal for small turf areas, shrubs and flowerbeds. RainBird’s 1800 series are designed to prevent pooling and run-off, and their patented, pressure-activated wiper seal provides optimum pop-up/down reliability.

Because of the variety of head heights, nozzles sizes, and spray patterns, your system’s efficiency depends on installing the appropriate type and number of heads. We have the expertise to match precipitation rates and guarantee head to head coverage, ensuring uniform coverage.

Each of our systems also includes a Rain Sensor. When the outdoor mounted sensor detects the predetermined amount of moisture, it sends a signal to the receiver overriding system activation.
